You have questions. wE have answers.

I have a great idea for a training topic! Who do I talk to?

We love hearing from our membership and want to take your idea under consideration. Please message questions@giscolorado.org to share ideas for training topics, trainers you would like to connect with GISCO, or technologies you’d like to know more about.

Do you have any volunteer opportunities?

GIS Colorado is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers. There are many ways to help. We do ask volunteers to be up to date on membership dues before volunteering. Get started by reaching out to questions@giscolorado.org to learn more.

I missed the registration deadline for today’s training or a quarterly meeting! Can I still come?

Trainings are commonly a paid event and space is limited. We encourage you to reach out to questions@giscolorado.org as soon as possible. We will work with the trainer to determine if there is additional space.

Quarterly meetings, though held mainly to enrich our membership, are open to the public. We ask for registrations on Eventbrite in order to make sure we have enough space (especially as seating varies drastically from venue to venue) and more importantly, meal options are covered. Please notify questions@giscolorado.org as soon as you know your plans. We will do our best to accommodate.

I accidently signed up for a training and now I can’t make it. Can I cancel my reservation (and get a refund for my training)?

Full refunds will be automatically issued for any request to cancel if they are received 7 days or more in advance of the scheduled training date.

Refund requests received within 7 days of a scheduled training can be refunded if the seat is filled by another participant. If no other participant is identified and accepted, no refund will be issued.

I’m having trouble with the website. Who do I contact about it?

Please contact website@giscolorado.org with any site related issues.

I have a problem with my membership account. Can you help me?

We are happy to help troubleshoot any issue you see with your membership, including any erroneous charges, lost passwords or expired accounts. Please contact questions@giscolorado.org to get started.

Can I promote my business on the Listserv?

The Listserv is intended as a peer-to-peer resource. No advertising is allowed unless approved by the GISCO Board. We do offer limited promotional opportunities as part of our  sponsorship levels.

Can I post my resume on the Listserv?

No resume posting or general “Looking for work…” posts are allowed on the Listserv.
