A panel of three GIS professionals for each section will be asked to evaluate and rank submissions based on their content, presentation, and originality within two weeks of the submission deadline (5/1/2026). Judges are selected from a pool of candidates and assigned to panels by the GIS Colorado Mapping Contest Committee, taking into consideration their preferences indicated in this form. The Committee will provide judges with digital copies of submissions and an online survey to collect their scores and comments. Judges are expected to make impartial assessments and cannot be considered an author of any Contest submissions. Affiliations and bios collected here will be published to a section of the GIS Colorado website through the end of May, 2026.
