Section *The contest is divided into a professional section open to current GISCO or WyGEO members in good standing and a student section open to anyone currently enrolled in, or who completed within one year before the submission deadline, a GIS or related certificate, undergraduate, or graduate program at an accredited institution in Colorado or Wyoming.StudentProfessional

An unofficial transcript from an accredited institution in Colorado or Wyoming is required for student submissions. Please provide transcripts for all members of a group student submission.

Category *Cartographic Works include analytical maps demonstrating an insightful and aesthetic approach to integrating geospatial data, as well as expressive interpretations of cartographic forms and geographic concepts using digital and/or traditional artistic media such as watercolor, graphite, or pastel. Cartographic works must be print-quality JPG files not exceeding 25 mb in size, measuring at least 11” x 17” and no more then 36" x 48" (Architectural E).

Abstract *Summarize what someone should know about the submission in 100-200 words. Please include some information regarding the submission's purpose, methodology, and findings (if applicable). References are required for any data, technical approaches, or analytical methods used in a submission and may be legibly presented within the submission itself or provided in the abstract. Sources do not need to follow a specific citation style and may be listed.
