October 20, 2022 – Fall Training
Description: The Fall 2022 Meetup will be an educational training in partnership with Adams State University (ASU). Dr. Chayan Lahiri, ASU Geology Professor will lead us on a tour of ancient Lake Alamosa in the morning. In the afternoon we will visit The Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve for a presentation by Andrew Valdez on GIS applications at the National Park.
Transportation will be provided by ASU, no private vehicles will be allowed. Liability waivers will be signed by non-ASU folks. For non-students, there will be an admission fee to the National Park. You may purchase your National Park pass in advance at https://www.nps.gov/grsa/planyourvisit/fees.htm. We will be in 15-passenger vans. Meet at 8:00 AM MST.
Location: Adams State University campus, 208 Edgemont Blvd., Alamosa, CO 81101. More details to follow.
Cost: $25 per person. Space is limited so register soon. Lunch will be provided. Note on Refunds: Full refunds will be automatically issued for any request to cancel if they are received 7 days or more in advance of the scheduled training date.

Refund requests received within 7 days of a scheduled training can be refunded if the seat is filled by another participant. If no other participant is identified and accepted, no refund will be issued.
October 21, 2022 – Fall Quarterly Meetup
Description: GIS Colorado meetups are open to the public and are a great opportunity to hear interesting geospatial topics from a wide range of GIS professionals across the state. Submit an abstract to be included on the Meetup agenda.
Location: The Meetup will start at 8 am MST at Society Hall, 400 Ross Ave., Alamosa, CO.
Cost: free, but register to reserve your spot and lunch.
Area Attractions and Lodging: There is no preset discount code or reserved block of rooms at this time.
